Raining

Life is not about waiting for the strom to pass. It is about learning to dance in the rain.

Raining not just makes people wet and feel uncomfortable. I always believe it depends on your state of mind.

Children never complain with raining.

I am reading “The Trembling of a Leaf Little”, written by William Somerset Maugham. There is a short story called “Rain”. It’s quite a heavy and depress story, just like the rain in samoa islands. I don’t know why a lot of scary cases are described to happened at raining nights in many literatures, but I know for my project I want to explore more at the soft and bright part of raining, just like the raining in London, mostly are fine drizzling rain.

In the documentary “Regen” (1929), directed by Mannus Franken and Joris Ivens, a lot of dramatic frames during raining in Amsterdam are shown. It’s amazing. Even the documentary is black and white, you still feel it’s melting and pleasant.
